This wand is made of hand turned cherry wood with a sealed core of a Selkie whisker. It is almost 16 1/2" long and finished with museum quality archival wax. Cherry wood is a dense, fine grained wood which takes a high polish and has a subtle milk chocolate figuring. It is known as both American Cherry and Black Cherry.
Although titled as Cherry Wand 3, it is a unique carving; simply the third piece I carved from cherry.
Not a toy and not suitable for children under 13.
